This isn’t “zombie art”. It’s Joel-Peter Witkin, who is a goddamn genius. He used corpses (as well as amputees, little people, the transgendered and more) to create morbid and transformative art. This piece, called ‘The Kiss’ is one of his most iconic. He literally took a man’s head, sawed it in half, and twisted it to give it the appearance of two men kissing.
If you don’t know who he is, look him up. He’s incredible. Simply incredible.
